Our History.
A little about us:
These products are made by a flintlock hunter who also has a keen interest in the period of American history (1750 – 1800) when present-day western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia was the American frontier. The designs are the result of extensive research to recreate historically accurate 18th century hunting bags and accoutrements that meet the needs of black powder shooters and reenactors. I enjoy combining my passion for history with creating my products.
Handcrafted Designs
These bags and leather goods are genuinely hand-crafted. Unlike bags that are mass produced using a sewing machine and automated equipment to precisely cut and punch the leather - these bags are cut, punched and stitched (without the use of a stitching awl) by hand, resulting in a rustic look. Creating items in this manner is more time-consuming, but the result is a bag you’ll be proud to own and carry.
Satisfaction Guaranteed
My products are designed and treated to be rugged, attractive, functional, and last a lifetime.
Committed to Quality
I use authentic raw materials and techniques to duplicate as nearly as possible the items used by craftsmen in the 18th century. I craft in cowhide, deer, etc..., and I use antler, bone, teeth, wood, beads, and furs.
